    Hi Dorian, yes to all of this! On a lick, it depends how it sounds, some are not even suitable to transpose to Minor but if yes, the major 6th could sound weird. Do recommend always using the maj 7th.

    Another great video, Tim. So, recapping, we use the melodic minor instead of one of the others to add character/flavor and distinguish the minor from it’s relative major. And extending this, this is most likely why the melodic minor is played the same way in both directions? And extending this a bit farther, we should be able to use the major licks, especially like the leading note lick, in the relative minor, but with a raised 6 and 7, or just the 7?
