You actually do count it in the middle of the video, but sometimes my listening is muddy or anticipatory and it’s hard to be sure. I’ve got it!

Good question Beth – I should have counted the lick in! It starts on the first beat (downbeat), no upbeat notes.

Because rhythm is not my strong suit (read understatement 😉 ): does this lick start on the downbeat, or are any of the first notes part of the 4th beat?
