Tip: take the G lick at the end of the video, and transpose that a minor third down. It starts with a b flat so that makes a g natural in the key of E. And instead of ending on a g, it now ends on an e. Good luck!

  • Okay, I’m trying to transcribe this into E because I play at rock n roll jams and a lot of the guitar players play in E. Why am I having so much trouble transcribing the C lick up a third? I can easily play it in C & G, but even when I write out the lick in C, and try to just imitate it a 3rd up, it doesn’t sound right at all! I feel as if there’s something really basic that I’m missing.
