Troublant Colours
Hi all, in answer to a few questions about the keys in Troublant Boléro, here is the colour chart. Some chords (C7, Bb7 and G#o) are left black, see if you can choose a lick that fits that chord without thinking of the key too much, and then resolve back to the ‘colour’ that follows. These are double dominants (or in the case of Bb7, a tritone) which are always a bit of a challenge. If you miss them, however, it’s not the end of the world!
